Despite the closing of Stapleton airport, the Flair has kept its roots and retro feel. From our wood-paneled walls to our serpentine bar, the Flair still embodies the feel of that era. The Flair recently reopened its kitchen, serving American and southern cuisine seven days a week, and the Flair now features nightly entertainment nightly. The Flair, true to its roots, has become one of Denver’s premiere blues bars, with such notable acts as David Booker, JD Kelly, Rudy Grant and Bruce Delaplain appearing regularly.

For over fifty years, The Flair Lounge has been one of Aurora and Stapleton’s legendary haunts. Originally situated at the corner of Montview Blvd and Dayton street, the Flair outgrew its modest digs and moved to its current location at 9496 Montview. At it present location, the Flair became a legendary meeting spot for travelers, pilots, and flight attendants coming through Stapleton airport and wanting drinks, dinner and conversation. The Flair also became a integral part of the Montview neighborhood.
